This project consists of a residential and mixed-use building which will accommodate 230 residential units alongside commercial and service spaces. The development features a notable 60-meter high residential structure and includes a generous green courtyard that serves as a noise-buffered area for residents. The project aims to enhance the urban landscape of Frenkendorf with a well-planned community space and improved walkable and bike paths.
The residential complex will be constructed in two phases and is designed by the Basel-based architectural firm Studio Gugger. It will incorporate various amenities including shopping and service areas, and will also boast ecological design elements, including the planting of approximately 80 new trees in the surroundings. Additionally, the project is expected to create housing for around 430 residents and approximately 100 jobs within the district.

The new residential units will meet the rigorous standards set by the cantonal energy legislation, aiming for at least a 10% lower energy consumption. The buildings will be constructed with superior thermal insulation materials and equipped with a renewable heat supply. The developments will adhere to the SGNI Gold Standard and will have reduced glazing to optimize energy use and minimize overheating.
Interior finishes will include high-quality materials with emphasis on durability and functionality. The kitchens will feature energy-efficient appliances, and bathrooms will be designed for practicality. Further specifications include:

Additionally, the roof areas will be greened and equipped with photovoltaic systems to enhance sustainability.
