Residential project in Bachenbülach
Architectural Vision
Markstein AG
The project «•••••••» is a residential complex consisting of 53 rental apartments. Designed by the Galli Rudolf Architects, it features twin building structures arranged in a checkerboard pattern, which promotes integration into the existing neighborhood while also creating its own distinctive living environment. The development replaces four older residential blocks and provides significantly more living space with larger apartments that are particularly suitable for families. Sustainable construction practices are emphasized, with plans for solar panels and renewable energy sources aimed at achieving the Gold Certificate of the Sustainable Building Standard in Switzerland.
The complex is primarily designed to accommodate families and couples, with the majority of the apartments featuring either 3.5 or 4.5 rooms. Additionally, there are some 2.5-room apartments available, with various well-designed floor plans that maximize natural light and provide expansive views. The unique architectural features include balconies that create a diverse façade, enhancing the visual appeal of the buildings. In collaboration with Kolb Landscape Architecture, the outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to provide communal areas and private gardens for ground-floor apartments.
The development also boasts shared amenities such as a playground, a communal seating area, and landscaped green spaces that promote biodiversity. The layout ensures that each building can be accessed from public areas while maintaining privacy for the residents. Overall, the «•••••••» aims to foster a vibrant community atmosphere with family-friendly surroundings and ample recreational opportunities.
